Equestrian Arenas
We pride ourselves on building equestrian areas that combine beauty with functionality. Some advantages of Iron Horse equestrian arenas include:
-
Light-filled and airy spaces, resulting in significant energy savings.
-
Clear span construction, meaning our roofs are not visible to the horses and riders, capturing the feeling of being outside.
-
The option to choose between metal or wood siding, and a variety of structures and styles we can customize to your exact specifications.
From skate parks to hockey rinks to indoor soccer arenas—we do it all with the highest quality materials. When it comes to recreational buildings, our offerings include:
-
Clear spans up to 250 feet wide, so you can create the perfect play space with no internal pillars.
-
Structures designed to produce solar heat gain, naturally increasing the thermal energy of our buildings and decreasing heating costs.
Recreational Buildings
-
It allows for natural light to penetrate the structure, resulting in a better work environment and lower electricity costs.
-
The sound-dampening qualities result in a quieter, safer working area.
-
It increases air movement, which provides a healthier environment without moisture build-up.
-
The framework in each of our buildings is made of hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) steel. The process takes place after fabrication, so each element of the structure’s foundation is strengthened and protected, including the welds.

Structure Styles and Options
These free-span buildings are available in sizes between 40 and 250 feet wide. VP Series structures are popular as barns and riding areas, as well as agricultural, manufacturing and recreational buildings.
Our HT Series structures are available in 50, 60, 65, 70 and 80-foot widths, and can be built on steel legs or concrete walls with 8, 10 or 12-inch centers depending on site variables, such as wind and snow load. HT Series structures are typically used for boat and municipal storage, as well as agricultural, recreational and manufacturing buildings.
Our CC Series structures are available in sizes up to 100 feet wide. CC Series structures are commonly used as municipal storage, airplane hangers and agricultural and recreational buildings.
These structures are built in a similar fashion to the CC Series, but are engineered to take on larger widths and heavier loads.
Our Side Entry Series features are available in up to 45-inch widths, and range in height from 10–35 inches. These are optimized for easy access, air flow and superior asset protection.
The Gable Design Series is available in 32, 42, 52, 62 and 70-inch widths. These structures are able to meet a variety of needs, and are ideal for multipurpose buildings.
This series is available in 32, 36, 50 and 50-inch widths. It is one of the only fabric structures of its kind, designed specifically for container use only. The CL Building Series may be employed either as a temporary or permanent solution for a range of purposes, from hay to salt storage.
